Let's see... first off, the computer I got for graduation was an HP Pavilion tx2000z - the 12.1" convertible tablet. It's really nice, and the pressure-sensitive touchscreen is amazingly useful for photoshop and sketching. making accurate layer masks now only takes a few brush strokes, as opposed to 30 minutes with a mouse.
This past summer was a bunch of fun - I traveled to Michigan and Indiana to visit quite a few relatives (cousins, aunts, uncles, siblings, and my mom). Also participated in a few summer camps.
But now, I'm a college student! My major is Aerospace Engineering at Cal Poly State University. We're a couple weeks in, and so far, everything is going really really well. calculus and physics are a lot tougher than they were in high school, but it's manageable.
As of last week, I'm officially an adult! Yes, I finally turned 18. Since then, I've been taking advantage of my new-found liberty and submitted several pictures to Nat'l Geo contests. Wish me luck!
I've also got an additional camera - a Nikon Coolpix L10. It's not the most incredible thing in the universe, but it's small and takes sharp photos as long as you hold it steady. I now carry it everywhere I go, and just take my D50 when I know I'll be taking pictures.
And lastly, I auditioned for and got into my university's top large choir, called "Polyphonics." We've had a couple rehearsals, and the sound quality is amazing already. It's going to be an exciting year!

great job, keep it up!
