Collected thoughtsI thought for a while that I’d turn away from love, thought I had learned my lesson not to fall down that spiky path. But slowly, gradually, , reaching with invisible tendrils, love began to find its way back, a love so incapacitating and deep for all my brothers and sisters that I was unaware it even existed. Now those tendrils have me bound at their will and I stare helplessly as bonds are broken and strained inexorably by the forces of time. Advice on buying a laptop?

Hey everybody!
So, I'll be graduating high school in barely over a month ;) and... as a graduation gift, my parents are buying me a laptop. There are SO many different products made by many manufacturers, and I was wondering if anyone had any advice (good/bad experiences, etc.). The most important qualification is that it needs to be able to run PS very well. Everything else is just icing on the cake :)
I'm looking at a max price of about $1200. Are tablets at all useful for PS work, or are they too inaccurate? Is it more important to have a decent graphics card or a faster main processor? Which kind of screen is best?

In other news, I AM going to Cal Poly next year - majoring in Aerospace Engineering. I'll be living in the dorms, which should be an adventure.

I went camping last weekend in Big Sur, California. Everything was in full bloom, and aside from some allergy problems, it was a beautiful place. I got a few nice nature shots, too.

I lived in Chitre (the capital of Herrarra). It's along the coat where Panama does this little loop-de-loop thing.
